PRINCE HENRY No, not a Prince Albert. A Prince Henry. But I'm sure someone out there will come up with a costume for that as well. This is what I'm talking about: CAT FASHION. Whatever will the Japanese come up with next that is just too cute to not enjoy. Honestly, I feel terrible for these critters, all wrapped up in fuzzy cotton and silks, bowties and bibs, booties and buttons. But, the images in the compilation book just released by VICE are totally worth ogling. The expressions on the dolled up felines is priceless. Cats with flair!
Personally, I know Pickles would shit a brick if I even tried to tie a ribbon on her. And I wouldn't dare. It's too ridiculous. She'd be better at playing "stuff on my cat". Or best at just being a regular cat, chasing bugs and stuff. Cool Cats. Livin'. Heathcliff style.

ALMOST SUMMER This thought crossed my mind this morning, when I woke up wishing it were a beach day, thinking that I was about to open my curtains to excruciating sunlight and an ocean view. I must have still been dreaming because there's definitely still a foot of snow outside, albeit a hint of sunshine, and a predicted blizzard on Wednesday. Regardless, it's also pretty much February which means it's nearly spring which in turn means, it's ALMOST SUMMER! But for now, snow boots, moon boots, parkas, hats, scarves, more scarves, double jackets, four-layered shirt syndrome ensues. No biggie. My mind is clearly at least two months ahead of schedule, partly due to the fact that January is always spent planning for March/April and full on summer scheduling. So pardon me if I begin wearing bathing suits as my first layer of winter armor. I'm bracing myself for the nonstop month ahead which I know will more or less erase February from the books anyway. It'll be April and we'll all say "wait, what the fuck happened to Feb and March!?" Pfft. That shit was snowed in which = one long hibernation evening. #netflix In two weeks I start recording my next EP and the remix album should be coming out shortly for Biker Daughter. Today, MTV's The Seven is featuring Biker Daughter as a part of DJ Kiss's upcoming artists to watch (squeeee) which just had Kenan Bell and Hank & Cupcakes on within the last month. Mini-tours in February, SXSW in March, video shoots in March and then it's nearly Coachella. Oh, and Coachella...I can't believe I'm actually on the fence for this. So someone give me a good reason to go. Because I don't know if I feel like wallowing in a mash-up of 2005 meets last years sxsw. #foodforthought Here's a song I like. They're new to Brooklyn. They're kind of hams. But the song makes me wanna jump off something or on to someone. Enough said.

IRRATIONAL There are some things that are simple and some that are suppose to be and aren't. Let's talk about the stupid cardboard milk or creamer cartons that we could never open when we were 5 and in our mid twenties still can't manage to crack. This happened at Rocket Cat today, while I was preparing my coffee and some dude next to me finished off the creamer and had to open a new container. I took my time putting the sweetener in my cup of Joe while he struggled with the creamer. Then there was nothing to do but watch. "I've almost got it, I just need a tool," he says and then fishes around for a device to actually pry and poke the creamer open. Clearly, I start blatantly laughing at this point. Why can't there just be a nice little spout?! Or a twist off cap like the cardboard orange juice boxes come with? I mean seriously, we're sitting here 4 hands deep trying to rape this box of creamer just so we can prep our coffee. The best part is, once it's open he literally throws a splash into his coffee and says, "Damn...all that work for just that." I felt like I should have shaken the jug up and started spraying it around the cafe in celebration! Of course, then we would have had to spend another half hour opening a new box of creamer.

TIDBITS I love fun facts. I also love frivolous irrelevant bits of information. Let's talk about the avocado. For one, I'm allergic. But I'll eat the hell out of avocados and guacamole until my lips tingle and I'm reaching for the Benadryl. I like to call it "building up a tolerance." Furthermore, at Rocket Cat today there was questioning as to why all the lovely avocados were wrapped up in a paper bag. Because they ripen in the shade, dudes. Don't be putting your hard little avocado in a basket in the open air and sun to ripen...because it'll turn brown and mushy. That ain't proper ripening. Avocados fall from the tree and ripen in the shade. Fun facts! So fun, I'm going to go throw some of this fruit on my bagel right now. Yes, an avocado is botanically a fruit. But we treat it as a veggie. Fruit salad!?

MISHAP 101 So I'm suppose to be video documenting the week leading up to the first Biker Daughter show...rehearsals..planes, trains, no automobiles. Mishaps, parties, packing, luggage freakouts, vomiting, whatever. Well I should have started today when my tired ass went to Dunkin Donuts and my car ran out of gas in the middle of the drive-thru. You know, that spot where you can't really get out of anyone's way. And what's worse than being shit out of luck-out of gas in the middle of a drive thru is it being in the coffee lane...and people really fiend for that shit. So what's one do? Oh, just laugh. And look at the dude in the car behind me who goes "You're not serious. Did you run out of gas?" Errr...."Wanna push?!" Best part is, half way through he gets a phone call and says he's helping a damsel in distress. I say I'll get his coffee and donut. Then as I'm slowly coasting past the pick up window, the woman leans out with my small coffee and asks for $1.50. Am I dreaming here? Slow motion...drive thru...cool ass Wednesday morning. So, I suppose these are the things I should be videotaping? But I haven't started yet. Instead, here's a promo video sent over this morning for the first upcoming show!

MILKY MISERY I love ET. I also love Mr. T. So obviously...I pretty much love this. It's beyond weird, beyond freakish, and beyond uncomfortable but somehow absolutely enticing. I now want a Mr. ET doll. I also wanted a milkshake this evening; seems pretty legit, easy to get, fulfilling. So I head out with Rog to get a milkshake and we are floored and in high anticipation of housing these milkshakes. Plus, we did the ultimate and decided to get fries to go with them. Score! So there we are, all pumped and literally pulling into the driveway when...boom! What happened? I don't know what happened! Except Rog was saying "oh shit, it's on the floor." Oh, naturally the cup fell out from the ever so famous knee grasping cup holder. But then it progressed to "oh my god it's all over the floor." Now, that's not sooooo much of big deal except for when we were ordering I got the small size. And Rog said, "a small, that's nothing." And then when his large came he realized the large could pretty much knock you unconcious for three days with a milkshake dairy-coma-buzz. So, that being said, a three day large milkshake was all over the floor. And...there were no car floormats. I couldn't really do much other than laugh, and of course shoot a video of the soppy mess. My weekend kicked off with getting my tattoo at Inkwell which I won over a game of pool followed by treking to Delaware for a Scion party...at Klondike Kate's. Arch and I came up with a lot of silly songs about that name and I witnessed a lot of sloppy drinking behavior. Come on college kids, learn to juggle those five vodka redbulls (or as Eric of Wallpaper calls them, Redka Vodbulls). Even if they are $3 a pop, you gotta stock up, right? I also hosted the premiere in Philly and Los Angeles for Men Who Stare At Goats. Amazing. I thought the movie was peculiar and hilarious, especially watching George Clooney really let go and show off his dance moves. And of course the goats. Goats are so underrated. I think I would like a pet goat. I will name him Goat-T. Maybe I'll get three. Goat-T, Mr-T and ET. Now that's a trilogy.

THE REAL T2 As much of a fan I am for robots, its the cute lil wind up guys or the roll around and dance with you bots that I fancy. Of course the old school bots who could maybe just push you around a bit in harmless fun are great too. But when it comes to a robot who is specifically designed for termination, well shit, haven't we all watched that film a dozen times. I recall staying home non sick from school as a kid and watching it daily (along with a few other classics such as Adventures in Babysitting)...but seriously...we all should have learned a lesson or two from the 80's hit. Don't make a robot that knows how to throw grenades, order guns, shoot the shit and maintain a great view through nightvision. But guess what, it may not come in the cyborg flesh the Terminator we know was so well endowed with, but it's only a matter of time; because the Talon Swat Bot is here. Danger, Danger Will Robinson!! The real T2 has come to life, and I can only surmise that within in a couple of years he'll be policing your neighborhood for 'protection'. Check this...the Talon Bot comes with: - a Multi-shot TASER electronic control device with laser-dot aiming ("can you say phase plasma rifle in the 40 watt range?" Cause that's what T2 was rockin' in the gunstore). - Loudspeaker and audio receiver for negotiations (Sara Conner? Pft. Negotiation my ass). - Night vision and thermal cameras (You know, to detect the body temps at night an such). - Choice of weapons for lethal or less-than-lethal responses (Bots need options too). - 40 mm grenade launcher - 2 rounds (Cause 2 rounds oughtta do the trick). - 12-gage shotgun - 5 rounds (Really guy, really?) - FN303 less-lethal launcher - 15 rounds (It's less lethal, so he gets 15 rounds).
MY JOHNNY 5 IS ALIVE! And for freakin' sale on ebay?! What the hell has come of the planet...where my bot is selling on ebay for tons of bank? Whoever would sell such a kick ass robot? Shit man, he'd be greeting guests and tearing it up on the dancefloor with me. Can we start a fundraiser to save Johnny 5 from ebay!? I will love him and cherish him forever.... pffft...and we all thought he short circuited. He'll be toolin' around on Hollywood Blvd. in no time! JOHNNY 5...IS ALIVE!!!
