MISHAP 101
So I'm suppose to be video documenting the week leading up to the first Biker Daughter show...rehearsals..planes, trains, no automobiles. Mishaps, parties, packing, luggage freakouts, vomiting, whatever. Well I should have started today when my tired ass went to Dunkin Donuts and my car ran out of gas in the middle of the drive-thru. You know, that spot where you can't really get out of anyone's way. And what's worse than being shit out of luck-out of gas in the middle of a drive thru is it being in the coffee lane...and people really fiend for that shit.
So what's one do? Oh, just laugh. And look at the dude in the car behind me who goes "You're not serious. Did you run out of gas?" Errr...."Wanna push?!" Best part is, half way through he gets a phone call and says he's helping a damsel in distress. I say I'll get his coffee and donut. Then as I'm slowly coasting past the pick up window, the woman leans out with my small coffee and asks for $1.50. Am I dreaming here? Slow motion...drive thru...cool ass Wednesday morning.
So, I suppose these are the things I should be videotaping? But I haven't started yet. Instead, here's a promo video sent over this morning for the first upcoming show!

This MIA video, now banned from You Tube due to full frontal nudity and extreme violence, is some seriously insane shit. If you haven't seen it yet here it is...and beware, this is definitely NSFW.
It's a pretty bold video...touching on a lot of emotions. A lot of people are wondering "what the point" of it is while others are simply ignoring it and voicing an angst view of, 'why the hell did I bother watching that?' Well, take the ten minutes and watch it. Maybe even watch it twice.
And for the record, why hasn't anyone asked how our lovely Gingers feel about this video? Hmmm? Drats. Check out our pics with MIA when she was Bamboo Bangin'.

FOOD NIGHT FIGHT
If there were ever a reason for me to move to NY, other than the fact that I already spend a good bit of time there and half my best friends live in BK...well..it'd be because of this video. Or maybe I need to launch a little private dance warehouse party. Nice job, Chromeo! This video is classic and I don't know many people who wouldn't be down for this night by night.



In other bits...tonight and every Tuesdays should also be official dinner party night. You can watch Dinner with the Band while having a din-din party. Maybe even a food fight to cap it off. I've already started with my meatball a la carte. A meatier meteor meatball...and Pickles isn't having it. Pickles aka Meatwad. And what if there were pickled meat. Is that nasty? Would that be delicious? What if you could buy pickled meatballs...is that gourmet or ghetto? I'm sure someone out there knows some little secret about the pickled meatball special on some lovely menu at a hidden gem restaurant.
Private dance parties. Pickled meatballs. And hidden gems. Now that's a plot line.

WE GOT BORED
I finally made it home to LA for a couple of days this past weekend just for BLOW UP. This month's Blow Up seriously took the cake...that shit was off the wall happy slippy sloppy. Although being home, there was definitely minimal sleep being had. Even all the way up to the wee hours prior to my flight out of LA and back to the middle of the country. On a fun note, my friend RDUB has this crazy fun video series called "We Got Bored". I just spent my last few hours in LA this weekend bouncing around in a parking lot while he worked on the latest...check it out:



And in the meantime, I'm getting ill from all the nonstop plane hopping, city circling, party hop shooting, air mattress non snoozing. But it's worth it. When the hell else am I gonna rock out in the middle of Nebraska and Kansas...

** Party update: Philly still takes the cake on the most riotous midweek bash thus far. Philly you're golden.
